SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed with regard to the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure read more at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area each day. The provider issue developed for intervention activities a high inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to allow the servicing of all clients and boost access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
